Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
My friend’s new puppy, Stella, thought my red toes were quite fun to play with!
So I occasionally leave town for several weeks (or seven months) and work on a cruise ship. Well that’s where I’ve been for the last 3 weeks or so…up until late Monday (May 17th) night. This ship I was on went to Alaska. So I’ve got some good pics to put up of hiking in Alaska with my KSOs. So later today, or in the next few days, I’ll get those pictures up, and then continue to add pics and stories about my Five-Fingers.
On the golf course with my black classic Five-Fingers! I didn’t actually play, I just drove along and enjoyed being outside!
Well…I thought it might happen eventually, but I just couldn’t bring myself to cutting the elastic piece out of my VFF Classics. That is until about 10 minutes ago…
A few days ago I bought my 3rd pair of Vibram Five-Fingers, the red and black sprints. I’ve thus far thoroughly enjoyed having 3 pairs of VFFs to choose from when I wake up and go about my day. Because I now have 3 pair, I figured I could finally alter my black classics to be as comfortable as possible. So I took the plunge. I cut out the elastic pieces. I couldn’t find any scissors, but oddly enough had a box cutter close at hand. So without even taking my classics off (probably not the best of ideas…) I cut the elastic pieces and pulled them out.
My feet feel more free than ever, and I have absolutely no regrets! And I like the look of the classics better now that there aren’t little plastic pieces hanging off the back.
Here’s another pic of the red sprints! And my sister in her new classics! She’s a full on convert now!!
